As I am sure you know by now. YouTube gets far more searches than Google. Great thing is, YouTube is owned by Google and Google LOVES YouTube. It can take weeks to months get your website and content ranked on Google, it takes hours to Days to get a Video ranked on Google.
Google takes special care of properly optimized videos. That being said, videos also have a higher click through rate in the SERPS. So basically you need to be using video to get your keyword ranked fast AND rank your websites.
Below is a blueprint for getting any video ranked quickly in the search engines and a link to an exeptional resource that shows you everything from how to create videos to getting clients to ranking for easy and complex phrases.
Video Domination Blueprint (This works for Newbs, Vets, Offliners, Affilate Marketers, anyone):
- Do your keyword research
- Create a video
- call to action at the end or use annotations
- I use animoto or flixya for this. They Combine Pics/Videos &text to create professional videos. You can also use fiverr gigs.
- Open a Youtube Account (Or use an existing) and name your channel your main keyword
- Upload your video to youtube
- Be sure to use your keyword phrase in the title, description and tags
- Hint: Research similar videos with related keywords and high views and use some of their tags as your own. This way you show up in the related column
- Select News as the category
- For the Description:
- Put your keyword first in the description then the URL to your website
- Write a 250-300 word article for the description that has related keywords to your main keyword. Add some deep links to your website (or your clients). Don’t forget to put the business address in if the business you are working with has a physical location. YouTube videos can be a powerful citation source to help your google places listing boost in ranking
- If you have a voice over you can use YouTubes automatic transcription function to automagically create your article.
- Put your keyword(s) in the video in quotes (i.e: “my keyword” “my other keyword” etc.)
- I like to put surrounding towns or related LSI terms in the description too to rank for related cities or terms.
- Submit your video and description to youtube
- Embed the youtube video on your website
- Go on fiverr and submit you video to 5-10 major youtube sites. Those videos should link to your (or your clients) website or the Youtube video (split 50/50)
- Or you can manually submit. Just Google “top video sharing sites”
- Ping your Youtube Channel and the Youtube video and website
- Pingler works well or there are a wealth of free resources to do this
- Submit the channel and video and website/blog RSS feeds to RSS directories
- Just Google RSS Feed directory submission for free and there are plenty of resources to help you.
- Use onlywire or Social marker Bookmark your videos
- You can find some good fiverr gigs to help with this
- Get your video retweeted on twitter, google plus, facebook and other get video views (100+ within the first 1-2 days is recommended)
- Watch your video rise to the first page.
