I think this is great content, and gives a good basic overview. Maybe I’m a little anal, but I wanted to refine something, and make a small clarification. Though I may be wrong, I believe the following to be true:
As I understand it, SITES are not ranked, PAGES are ranked. Links refer back to PAGES, not SITES. Pages are ranked based on the theory that you presented in the video. That’s why you want your pages to be keyword specific, and have great content so that other similar pages will want to link to them.
I believe that it’s not unusual for individual content pages to rank higher than the home page of a website.
If I’m wrong about this, I’d be open to correction.

You are absolutely correct. I did not want to confuse things.

Damon, thank you for preparing this very powerful lesson.
You have a way of taking a concept that is usually difficult to grasp and simplify it so that we can all get a better idea of what we are supposed to do in order to become successful with our online ventures.

Easy to follow concepts and understanding of basic SEO. Look forward to hearing if you provide a deeper dive into SEO or possibly a training course of basic/advanced SEO strategies.
Thanks for sharing, and great job.

Lou, any particular SEO strategies you would like discussed?

This is very straightforward and clear. It’s a slightly novel twist to pump up the authority sites from other properties that you have access to. I’d like to know a little more on the theory of that and some examples of how it’s been made to work. @Greg – good point.

More examples coming. Any type of link building or offsite optimization you do for your site, you do for those sites linking to your site. More details to come…

Very informative, I know exactly what needs to be done now thanks to you.
Was getting so tired of useless uninformative videos that made absolutely no sense. This is perfect, explained amazingly well and should be watched by anyone starting SEO.
